The Student Affairs Office at Al-Amiriya College held a welcoming ceremony this morning, Thursday, for its eighth graduating class for the 2023-2024 academic year, representing all departments and specializations. At the ceremony, held in the main hall of Al-Amiriya College in Damt City, attendees listened to a number of welcoming speeches and patriotic songs that reflected the joy of celebrating the national holidays of September and October.
In his welcoming address, Dr. Fadl Muthanna, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Amiriya College, praised the students and attendees for their academic and intellectual level and their disciplined approach, which reflects their passion for learning. He also emphasized the college's ongoing commitment to attracting such exemplary students, who are needed by society and the local and regional job markets. In his address, the Chairman of the Board touched upon several topics related to the modernization and development process that Al-Amiriya Modern College has undergone over the eight years since its establishment. This included updating departments and specializations to meet the needs of the job market, along with modernizing applied laboratories and curricula in accordance with this vision.
The ceremony, which began with verses from the Holy Quran, featured welcoming speeches, poems, and patriotic songs performed by a number of students and attendees, all of which were well-received by the audience.
